KATHUA, Aug 25: A joint team of Excise and Police seized 21 kg of Bukki and arrested one person in this connection.
Acting on a specific information the joint team of Police led by DySP DAR Rohit Basgotra, SHO Lakhanpur, Arvinder Singh, ETO P S Chib and Harmohan Singh intercepted truck No. JK02AQ/ 3975 at Lakhanpur. It was loaded with onion and was on way to Udhampur from Rajasthan.
During physical check of the truck 21 kg ‘bukki’ concealed under onion bags was recovered from the vehicle. Its driver Manmohan Singh, son of Teja Singh of Jammu was arrested and a case registered against him. The truck was also seized.
