JAMMU, Sept 22: All India Management Association (AIMA), New Delhi, is organizing Management Aptitude and Skills Test (MAST) tomorrow at Chandigarh, in which 21 MBA students of Kathua Campus, University of Jammu, are also participating.
The score of the qualified students along with the CVs will be shared with the companies for further process. This will provide a valuable opportunity to the Management students to be picked up by the leading companies matching with their managerial skills.
Adding credibility to this novel initiative is the support, MAST enjoys with some of the leading companies like JK Cements, ITC Lifestyle, Larsen and Toubro, Sanjiv Goenka Group, Parle Biscuits, Moser Baer India, Nokia, Britannia, Fabindia, and Mother Diary, etc.
More than 120 companies across the Country are endorsing the MAST initiative and for this AIMA has roped in TimesJobs.com as their recruitment support partner to share data.
Prof Neelu Rohmetra, Rector, Kathua Campus, when contacted, informed that appearing in the MAST test will provide a platform to the young minds to showcase their skills and abilities and will endow new prospects to launch their career in the corporate world.
She also told that the students would also make a visit to units of Hero Cycles and Sharman Shawls at Ludhiana on September 24 and 25.
She further informed that the industrial trip for the MBA students at Kathua is the 2nd in the series in the current academic session.
The students are accompanied by Naresh Sharma, Coordinator Placements for the Kathua Campus and Vishal Sharma, faculty members for the MBA programme at Kathua.
