22 bovines rescued, two arrested

JAMMU, Apr 29: Jhajjar Kotli and Belicharana Police rescued 22 bovine animals and arrested two persons.
As per police sources, on specific information teams from Police Station Jhajjar Kotli led by SHO Inspector Devinder Singh and Police Post Belicharana led by PSI Jeevan Kumar laid check points in their respective jurisdictions and intercepted two vehicles.
During checking, police team rescued 22 bovine animals from the vehicles and arrested two persons, who were identified as Mohammad Sultan, son of Ghulam Nabi of Panasa District Reasi and Mohammad Ashraf, son of Mohammad Zabar of Tral District Pulwama.
Cases under relevant Sections have been registered at Police Stations Jhajjar Kotli and Satwari and investigation started.
