JAMMU, Oct 22: A 22 year old girl made an abortive attempt on her life by consuming some poisonous substance at village Suri Nalla, Thathi, in the district.
As per reports, 22 year old girl identified as Kanchan Devi, daughter of Krishan Lal of Suri Nallah, Thathi, allegedly consumed some poisonous substance at her residence.
Noticing her unconscious, family members shifted her to District Hospital, Udhampur, where her condition was stated to be out of danger, when last reports poured in.
The reason behind such extreme step could not be ascertained, while, a case has been registered at concerned police station and investigation started.
