JAMMU, Oct 2: Jhajjar Kotli police under ‘Operation Kamdhenu’ rescued 23 bovine animals and arrested three persons.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Jhajjar Kotli Police Station laid naka at Suketar and intercepted two vehicles.
During checking, police rescued 23 vehicles from the vehicles and seized them. Police also arrested three persons, who have been identified as Kripal Singh, son of Him Singh of Pouni District Reasi, Shabir Ahmed, son of Siraj Din of Gole Gujaral Jammu and Talib Hussain, son of Mohammad Hanief of Gadigarh District Jammu.
Cases under relevant Sections have been registered at Jhajjar Kotli Police Stations and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Jhajjar Kotli Inspector Sanjeev Gupta rescued the bovine animals and arrested the accused under the supervision of SDPO Nagrota, SP Rural Dushyant Sharma and SSP Jammu Vivek Gupta.
