RAJOURI, Dec 20: In a road mishap, 23 passengers were injured when a Canter rolled down near the town, here this evening.
The vehicle, bearing registration number JK11-3935, was on way from Rajouri to Majakote when driver could not negotiate a sharp curve resulting into the accident. The vehicle skidded off the road and somersaulted before hitting a culvert, which however stopped it from rolling down further.
Police and locals rushed to the spot and shifted all the injured to District Hospital Rajouri. Some of the injured were discharged first aid while condition of others was also stated to be stable and out of danger.
