JAMMU, Oct 15: Government today ordered placement of 24 selection grade DySPs as Incharge Superintendents of Police, while as the Home Department today ordered promotion of two Deputy Directors Prosecution and nine Chief Prosecuting Officers.
The 24 selection grade DySPs, who were placed as Incharge Superintendents of Police are Tanveer Jeelani, Muneer Ahmad, Mohammad Aslam, Nazir Ahmed Shah, Aijaz Rasool, Muzaffar Ahmad Shah, Master Popsy, Ramnish Gupta, Sajad Ahmad Shah, Azhar Bashir Baba, Raja Adil Hameed Ganie, Arif Amin Shah, Sajad Khaliq Bhat, Suresh Kumar, Sumir Kotwal, Peerzada Naveed, Mamta Sharma, Shahzad Ahmad Salaria, Stenzin Losal, Aijaz Ahmad Zargar, Farooq Qesor Malik, Tahir Ashraf Bhatti, Surjeet Kumar Bhagat and Rajinder Singh.
However, the Government has also accorded sanction to the promotion of Manmohan Singh, the then SSP Traffic Jammu (now retired) to the selection grade of IPS.
Meanwhile, Home Department today ordered promotion of two Deputy Directors Prosecution and nine Chief Prosecuting Officers.
According to an order issued by Suresh Kumar, Principal Secretary, Home Department, Mushtaq Ahmad Shah and Mufti Javeed Ahmad (retd), Deputy Directors, Prosecution have been promoted as Joint Directors, Prosecution.
The nine Chief Prosecuting Officers, who were promoted as Deputy Directors, Prosecution are Gopi Krishan, Ashok Lata, Mohammad Asgar Beigh, Abdul Khaliq Mirza, Nisar Ahmad Alaqband, Mushtaq Ahmad Khan, Peer Ghulam Mohammad, Rajeshwar Kumar Bakshi and Zulafkar Ahmad Munshi.
