25 bovines rescued, four arrested

JAMMU, May 31: Domana and Belicharana Police rescued 25 bovine animals and arrested four persons.
As per police sources, teams from Police Station Domana led by SHO Inspector Mahesh Sharma and Police Post Belicharana headed by ASI Sanjeet Singh laid nakas in their respective jurisdictions and intercepted two vehicles bearing registration numbers JK02AP-6355 and JK02AD-5527.
During checking, police team rescued 25 bovine animals and arrested four persons, who were identified as Sajjid Hafeez, son of Abdul Hafeez of District Poonch, Mohammad Sharief of District Reasi, Rayaz Ahmed, son of Ghulam Ahmad of District Anantnag and Kala, son of Mohammad Shafi of RS Pura District Jammu.
Cases under relevant Sections have been registered at Police Stations Domana and Satwari and investigation started.
