25 injured in Sheeri accident

Srinagar, Sept 21: Twenty five persons including an 18 months old kid were injured after a passenger vehicle met with an accident at Sheeri in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district today.
A police official said that a min-bus bearing registration number JK05 7170 skidded off the road near Kitchama in Sheeri area of the district after a speedy motor-cycle collided with it, resulting in injuries to 25 passengers.
The injured were immediately rushed to Public Health Centre (PHC) Sheeri. However, most of them were then shifted to District Hospital Baramulla. Six out of 18 were referred to Srinagar while two among those 6 were critical including a lady.
The injured were identified as Mohammad Abbas Khan, Ameena Begum, Tabasum Younus, Aashiq Hussain Sheikh, Masroof Ahmad Idrees, Saima Bashir, Aisha Begum, Tasleema Begum, Gulshan Begum, Sheerena Begum, Fata Begum, Shamshada Begum, Saleema Begum, Mohammad Iqbal Tantray, Naseema Begum, Kulsoma Bano, Ishrat Bano, Hameeda Begum, Tanveer Ahmad Khan, Nazir Ahmad Khan, Abid Ahmad Mir, Rifat Begum,  Zareefa Begum,  Gulshan Begum and Saja Begum.
