BHADERWAH, May 15: Police seized 25 timber scants of illegal timber.
As per reports, on specific information, a team from Police Station Bhaderwah conducted raid in Satingal area and seized 25 timber scants, while the persons involved in smuggling of forest wood escaped from the spot.
A case under FIR Number 80/2021 under relevant sections has been registered at Police Station Bhaderwah and investigation started.
Meanwhile, forest official team headed by Range Officer Shafqat Hussain also reached the spot and took appropriate measures as per law established under Indian Forest Act 1927.
