2500 litres of adultered milk destroyed

SRINAGAR, Apr 26: Jammu and Kashmir Food and Drug Controller today swung into action and destroyed 2500 litres of adulterated milk and lifted 23 samples for examination.
Assistant Commissioner, Hilal Ahmad Mir said the Food and Drug Control Organisation started a drive against the menace of milk adulteration in the city.
“Our men laid a naka at different places where from milk entering the city was destroyed after finding it adultered,” he said. Meanwhile, the department has also issued mobile numbers (0194-2495191 & 2490095) where consumers can lodge their complaints.
