2500 pilgrims leave for Mani Mahesh Yatra

BHADERWAH,  Aug 23: To take part in the annual Mani Mahesh Yatra to the holy shrine of Mani Mahesh in Chamba of Himachal Pradesh (HP), a group of pilgrims today departed from the Bhaderwah town by foot for the holy pilgrimage.
A group of about 2500 pilgrims departed from Lakshmi Narayan Mandir Bhaderwah to Bheja village enroute to Mani Mahesh of Himachal Pradesh. The pilgrims will stay there for night and then proceed towards Mani Mahesh Chamba.
The pilgrims were seen off by Sub Divisional Magistrate Bhaderwah Mohd Anwar Banday, ASP Bhaderwah Amit, SHO Bhaderwah Bandishwar Manhas. Yatra was also given a warm send off by MLC Bhaderwah, Naresh Kumar Gupta and Mast Nath Yogi besides people from all walks of life and prayed for their happy and prosperous pilgrimage.
