JAMMU, Sept 19: The 26th Maha Samadhi Diwas of Shaivacharya Ishwarsroop Swami Lakshman Joo Maharaj was solemnized with traditional piety and fervor here, today.
In this connection, functions were held at Swami Ji’s Mahinder Nagar Ashram and Pushpati Mandir Sarwal Jammu in which a large number of devotees of Swami Ji participated.
The function at Ishwar Ashram Trust Mahinder Nagar started early in the morning and it culminated late in the afternoon. A large number of devotees of Swami Ji participated in the function. Later, the devotees were served with prashad.
At Pushpati Mandir Sarwal the solemnization started early in the morning with Kalsh Pooja and the recitation of Shalokas from Shaiv Sutras by the devotees. The day long hawan was performed amid the chanting of devotional hymns as also the recitation of Mantras of Shalokas from the Shaiv scriptures. There was an aura of spirituality all around.
The solemnization culminated in Puranahuti amid the recitation of Guru Arti by the devotees. This was followed by distribution of Prasad.
The solemnizations were held at Ishwar Ashram Complex, Ishbar Nishat in Kashmir valley, Ishwar Ashram Bhawan, Sarita Vihar Delhi, Ishwar Ashram Navi Mumbai and Universal Shaiva Fellowship, California USA.
