DODA, Aug 28: Dessa police foiled major bovines smuggling bid by rescuing 28 bovine animals and arrested one person.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Dessa police station apprehended a cattle smuggler and rescued 28 bovine animals from his possession.
The arrested person has been identified as Khursheed Ahmed, son of Mohammad Abdullah, a resident of Mothla.
A case under FIR Number 10/17 under Section 188 RPC and 3 PCA Act has been registered at Dessa police station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Dessa SI Ahmedullah made the arrest under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Doda Iftkhar Ahmed, Additional SP Doda Vinay Kumar and SSP Doda Mohammad Shabir.
