281 kanal forest land retrieved in Nowshera

RAJOURI,  July 11: In a major operation forest officials’ team,  retrieved about 281 kanals of forest land which had been grabbed by the encroachers in Lamberi area of Sunderbani Ranges of  Nowshera Forest Division.
Official sources said that in Nowshera Forest Range, the operation was led by Range Forest Officer,  Sudesh Choudhary.  The team retrieved 200 kanals forest land from the occupation of three encroachers in Compartment  Nos. 116/N, 59/N of Anayatpur and Pandhar Laroka area of Nowshera Range.
Another team led by RO Sunderbani  Vinod Sharma retrieved 78 kanals forest land from the possession of 13 encroachers at Compartment  Nos. 114/D, 25/D, 27/D, 59/D, 60/D, 117/D & 124/D falling in Langer, Chirangal, Brevi, Ranthal, Potagala and Laman area of Sunderbani Range.
In yet another successful operation led by RO Lamberi, Mohd Jameel and the team also retrieved 3 kanals forest land from the occupation of one encroacher in Compartment No.  140/N of  Sangpur area of Lamberi Range.
The operation were carried out under the direct supervision of  CF West  Sameer Bharti and co-ordinate by DFO Nowshera Dr A D Singh.  The DFO has further ordered the fencing of retrieved area to prevent from being again encroached in future.
