UDHAMPUR, Aug 17: Police today rescued 29 bovine animals and also seized two vehicles, while checking at police check post Battal in Majalta area.
Reports said, a police party headed by SHO Majalta Inspector Kesar Singh and assisted by PSI Gaurav Slathia during checking at check post Battal stopped two Trucks bearing registration number JK02AS-9307 and JK02AU-9918.
From both the vehicles, police rescued 29 animals, while the drivers of both the trucks fled away from the spot.
In this case registered in Police Station Majalta FIR No. 74/2024 U/Sec.223/BNS,11 PCA and FIR No.75/2024 U/Sec.223/BNS,11 PCA act, further investigation of the case is in progress.
