UDHAMPUR, July 5: The police seized 29 bovine animals and arrested two persons in this connection in Tikri area of Udhampur today.
Reports said a police team led by I/C Police Post Tikri, PSI Abdul Satar during routine naka noticed movement of bovines along with few persons in Tikri area. They were moving towards Chenani side on the road. 29 bovines were being taken on- foot without any legal permission. The police seized all the cattle and arrested two persons in this connection.
They were identified as Bashir Ahmed from Jammu and Mohd Goura from Vijaypur.
A case was registered against them.
