JAMMU, Nov 12: The 2G internet services shall remain continued in eight districts of Jammu and Kashmir, excluding Udhampur and Ganderbal till November 26, 2020.
An official spokesman said that the high speed (4G) mobile data services in Ganderbal and Udhampur districts shall continued to be made available, while in rest of the districts in J&K, the internet speed be restricted to 2G only.
“While the post paid sim card holders shall continue to be provided access to the internet, these services shall not be made available on pre-paid cards, unless verified as per the norms aspplicable for post-paid connections,” the spokesman added.
