REASI, June 27: Reasi Police has arrested a drug peddler and seized 3.5 kg poppy straw from his possession.
A Police team, headed by SHO Reasi Amod Ashok Nagpure (IPS) laid a special naka at Dam Top Dhyangarh and during checking, apprehended one person namely Bansi Lal of Sai Lanjan, district Reasi, who was carrying the poppy straw. Police arrested the accused and seized the poppy straw.
In this connection, a case under Section 8/15 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Reasi.
