DODA, Sept 4: Police today seized 3.64 quintals ‘Nagshatri’ and arrested one person in this connection.
A police spokesman said that, on specific inputs, police party from Assar Police Station conducted a raid in a house and recovered 3.64 quintals of Nagshatri packed in 12 bags.
In this connection, one person was arrested, who has been identified as Liaqat Ali, son of Ghulam Mohammad of Bhagwa.
A case under FIR number 244/13 under Section 379 RPC and 16 Forest Act has been registered at Doda Police Station and investigation started.
