JAMMU, Mar 9: The police arrested three absconders in Udhampur and Poonch districts today.
Official sources said that Rehmbal police in Udhampur arrested two accused who were wanted in separate cases. Absconder namely, Mohd Beniya, son of Mohd Rafiq, a resident of Beli Charana in Jammu, was evading arrest in case FIR No. 125/2022. He was arrested from a hideout today.
Another absconder namely, Mohd Rariq, son of Mohd Yousuf, resident of Garnai, in Udhampur who was evading arrest in case FIR No.92/2020 has also been arrested.
Both the accused shall now be produced before court for further course of action.
Meanwhile, an absconder wanted in a case registered at Police Station, Mandi has been arrested by police team headed by SHO Mandi, Mukhtiar Ali after four years.
Identified as Shabir Ahmed, son of Sanaullah, resident of Kalani, Tehsil Haveli, he was wanted in case FIR No. 07/2018 U/S 341/323/427/504/506 RPC and was absconding , whereas a general warrant of arrest U/S 512 CrPC was issued against him by a court in Poonch.
The accused was produced in the court of law for further course of action.
