RAMBAN, Feb 24: Batote police arrested three absconders from Jammu, Sopore and Udhampur districts, who were evading their arrest for the past long time.
A police spokesman said that, police team from Batote police station arrested three absconders, who have been identified as Roop Chand alias Abdul Rehman, son of Ramdas of Sanasar wanted in case registered under FIR number 114/13 under Section 363, 344 and 109 RPC, Muzaffar Mehraj, son of Abdul Jabbar of Nathipora, Sopore, Kashmir wanted in case registered under FIR number 2/2008 under Section 279, 337, 338 and 304-A and Karnail Singh, son of Kartar Singh of district Udhampur, wanted in case registered under FIR number 15/14 under Sections 279, 337 RPC, 140, 196, 3/181 MV Act.
Police team led by SHO Batote police station Inspector Mohammad Iqbal made the arrest under the supervision of SSP Ramban Randeep Kumar.
