RAJOURI, Nov 29: The police arrested three persons who were absconding in Manjakote area for the last over eight years and evading their arrest.
Official sources said that absconder Mohd Yousaf, son of Mohd Maqbool, residence of Hayatpura in Manjakote was arrested today. He was evading arrest in case FIR No.94/2018 U/S 376/452/354/504/506 RPC.
Another absconder Mohd Pervaiz, son of Din Mohd, residence of Niaka Panjgarian, was arrested from a jungle near Indo-Pak border. He had gone to Kuwait and had returned recently. He was evading his arrest in case FIR No.73/2014 U/S 353/332/336/323RPC and case FIR No.61/2014 U/S 354/144RPC, for 8 years . Both the accused were produced before the court for further course of action.
3rd arrest was made from village Niaka Panjgrain near border when a foreign returnee was arrested. Police party of PS Manjakote arrested absconder Matloob Hussain, son of Nazir Hussain, resident of Panjgrain who was absconding in case FIR No. 98/2014 U/S 341/323/RPC.
The arrests were supervised by SDPO Manjakote Shamsher Singh, under the guidance of ASP Vivek Shekhar under the overall supervision of SSP Rajouri Mohd. Aslam.
