3 absconders arrested by GRP Jammu, Kathua

JAMMU, Apr 11: In a special drive against absconders, GRP Jammu today apprehended three of them who were evading arrest for last more than 10 years.
They have been identified as Jaspreet Singh alias Tina son of Kulwant Singh, a resident of Nanak Nagar, Yash Paul son of Bachan Lal R/o Palli Morh, Kathua and Raj Kumar son of Rattan Chand R/o Lakhanpur, Kathua, presently putting up at Bhadrali Sujjanpur in Punjab.
Tina was wanted under Section 307/201/34 RPC and 4/27 Arms Act at Police Station GRP Jammu under FIR No. 16/2007 while Yash Pal was wanted under case FIR No. 1/1996 under Section 379/34 RPC at GRP Kathua. Raj Kumar was wanted in case FIR No. 1/2006 under Section 279/334/304A RPC at GRP Kathua.
Tina was evading arrested for last 17 years and has been lodged in District Jail Jammu, Yash Paul was absconding for last 17 years and has been lodged in District Jail Kathua. Raj Kumar was absconding for last 12 years and has been lodged in District Jail Kathua.
Specially constituted teams headed by SHOs GRP Jammu and GRP Kathua accomplished the task.
