REASI, May 5: Following a strong protest by the drivers of passenger buses at Rajouri, Reasi Police arrested three youth who had allegedly assaulted driver of a bus, which hit their vehicle at Bambla, last night.
The incident took place in Bambla area of the district and the trio was arrested after registration of a case against them. As per the version of the alleged assaulters, the bus had hit their vehicle while they were on their way from Rajouri to Jammu.
The arrested persons have been identified as Radhesh Sharma, Varun Gupta and Novjot Sharma of Rajouri district.
In the early morning, a number of passenger bus driver blocked the National Highway at Rajouri and demanded stern action against the assaulters.
