JAMMU, Sept 12: Three persons have been arrested for black marketing Government cement.
As per police sources, on specific information, a police team led by SDPO RS Pura Surinder Choudhary under the supervision of SP Headquarters Jammu RC Kotwal conducted raid at Chak Mohammad Yar and apprehended three persons including a GREF labour while unloading and selling 100 bags of Government cement from GREF tipper.
The arrested persons have been identified as Mani Pal (driver), son of Narinder Singh of Braily, UP, Bachan Lal (GREF labour), son of Munshi Ram of Seer Bla, RS Pura and Iqbal Singh, son of Maan Singh of Chak Mohd Yar.
The driver and GREF labour were indulged in selling the Government cement to Iqbal Singh, but police thwarted their attempt and arrested them.
Tipper and seized 100 cement bags have been handed over to Police Station RS Pura for further legal action under law.
