Srinagar, Aug 10: Acting tough against the persons involved in the illegal extraction and transportation of minerals, police today arrested 3 persons and seized as many vehicles in Baramulla.
A police party under the supervision of SDPO Tangmarg Imtiaz Ahmed assisted by SHO PS Tangmarg, seized 3 vehicles and arrested 3 drivers for their involvement in illegal extraction and transportation of minerals at Shrai-Kulhama Tangmarg, police said.
“They have been identified as Khursheed Ahmad Khan son of Ali Mohd Khan resident of Check Treran, Showkat Ahmad Parray son of Gh Mohiuddin resident of Kulhama & Ab Hamid Kumar son of Gh Mohd resident of Paraswani Kunzer,” police said.
Accordingly, a case under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Tangmarg and an investigation has been taken up.
