JAMMU, Aug 12: Bishnah police arrested three gamblers and recovered Rs 10,500 stake money and playing cards from their possession.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Bishnah Police Station conducted raid in Chak Lala area and arrested three gamblers along with Rs 10500 stake money and playing cards.
The arrested persons have been identified as Balkar Singh alias Sunny, son of Balbir Singh, a resident of Ward Number 7, Charkan Kotli, Jagdev alias Jagga, son of Dharam Chand of Mehmmodpur and Sinder Lal, son of Girdhari Lal, a resident of Mehmmodpur, Bishnah.
All the arrested persons have been booked in under Section 13 Gambling Act by Bishnah Police.
Police team led by SHO Bishnah Inspector Rajesh Sharma and assisted by SI Ankuj Kumar made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Sourabh Prashar, SP Headquarters Jammu RC Kotwal and SSP Jammu Vivek Gupta.
