3-day international seminar on ‘The Republic in Shakespeare’ concludes

JAMMU, Oct 18: Valedictory function of the three-day International Seminar on the Republic in Shakespeare, jointly organized by the Department of English in Jammu University and The Shakespeare Association (India), was held today on the campus.
Prof K B Razdan, key speaker of the function, delivered the valedictory address and dwelt on various facets of the topic.
Registrar JU, Prof Manoj K Dhar, who was chief guest on the occasion, said that University of Jammu has emerged as a hub of academic activities.
The valedictory function was addressed by several resource persons who shared their experiences and gave their remarks on various sessions of the seminar. They included Prof Paul Budra and Dr Anand Prakash.
Over 200 scholars from India and abroad participated and presented papers in the three-day Seminar. There were 30 Parallel and 7 Planery Sessions. K  Sharma, Central University, Jharkhand; Prof  Tejinder Kour, Punjabi University, Patiala; Prof  Seema Malik, M S U Udaipur; Prof  S  P  S  Dahiya, M D U Rohtak; Prof Ram Niwas, Kurukshetra University; Prof  Samina Kahn, Aligarh Muslim University; Dr  Swati Ganguly, Vishwa Bharti University, West Bengal; Dr  Pankaj Sharma, C D L University; D  Payal Nagpal and Dr  Hema Dahiya, Delhi University.
