3-day intl conference on PDGC concludes in Jaypee University

JAMMU, Nov 12: A three-day international conference on Parallel, Distributed and Grid Computing concluded in Jaypee University of Informational Technology, Waknaghat, Solan (Himachal Pradesh).
The conference was organized by Department of Computer Science and Engineering and Information Technology in association with IEEE Delhi section. Vice-Chancellor Professor Vinod Kumar inaugurated the conference along with function’s chief guest, Professor Shyam Sunder Pattnaik, Director, NITTTR, Chandigarh.
On the occasion, Prof Vinod Kumar, Prof Samir Dev Gupta, Dean (Academics), Jaypee University and Professor Shyam Sunder Pattnaik motivated the audience by their addresses. Earlier, Dr Hemraj Saini, Conference General Chair presented the welcome address.
In this conference, a total of 113 research papers were presented from India and abroad. In addition, four keynotes were also presented in detail by speakers including Professor Tamas Kiss, Director of Research Centre for Parallel Computing Professor, University of Westminster, Dr David (Bong Jun) Choi, School of Computer Science and Engineering College of Information Technology, Soongsil University, Seoul (Korea), Dr Rahul Katarya, Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Delhi Technological University and Dr Neha Sharma, Analytics & Insights, Tata Consultancy Services, Pune.
The conference ended with vote of thanks presented by Dr Hemraj Saini.
