LEH, July 2: The Accountant General A&E Jammu and Kashmir Shourjo Chatterjee inaugurated the 3-day Pension Adalat today at DC office conference hall.
The Adalat is being organized by office of the Accountant General (Accounts and Entitlement) Jammu and Kashmir and supported by District Administration Leh. The Adalat is being organized exclusively for resolution of grievances of the pensioner/family pensioners, early settlement of the pending/unsettled or revision cases (including 7th CPC revision) and creating awareness in the matter amongst Pension Sanctioning Authorities and other stakeholders.
Speaking on the occasion, AG (Pension) Jammu and Kashmir Shourjo Chatterjee said such kind of Adalat proves helpful in resolving grievances and verification of pension cases at their respective places and saves trouble to the outgoing employees as minor issues are also solved here to save any inconvenience of travel and sundry.
During the Adalat, on the spot verifications of the pension papers / service books with regard to their completeness and correctness in respect of the employees retiring within next six months, review of pension and family pension cases pending with the departments, redressal of grievances of the pensioners/family pensioners was carried out.
Chief Accounts Officer District Fund Office Leh StanzinDonsal conducted the meeting. Senior Accounts Officer AG Office J&K K L Choudhary, Accounts Officer AG Office J&K N A Peerzada, officers and officials of AG Office J&K and the Leh District were also present.
