3-days’ Bharat Scouts & Guides training camp concludes

JAMMU, Nov 20: A 3-day Scout training camp for the Triteeya Sopan was concluded at Kendriya Vidyalaya Nagrota, today.
The camp inaugurated on November 18, 2024, saw participation from 147 scouts from 16 schools of KVS Jammu region.
On the occasion, Principal Ram Kishan Dahiya was the chief guest.
Students of Kendriya Vidyalaya Nagrota presented various cultural programs.
The chief guest emphasized the importance of becoming good citizens and working voluntarily with a positive attitude.
Various activities were organized during the training. Arrangements for food and accommodation were made within the school premises.
During the camp, students received training in primary first aid, making emergency rope stretch and other skills, as well as character building.
Scouts and examiners together presented a mesmerizing qawwali performance, which moved the entire audience.
Scouts staged a play highlighting issues like pollution control and social media’s growing impact.
On the concluding day, LoC Raman Kumar presented the camp report.
Assistant Commissioner, Hari Singh was also present during the event.
All participants received certificates at the end, making this training an unforgettable experience.
