KISHTWAR, Nov 9: In absence of proper medical facilities, three persons died due to cold and fever, here.
As per reports, in absence of proper medical facilities, three persons died due to cold and fever in Gandhari area of Padder in the past 48 hours.
People of the area alleged that there are no proper medical facilities in their area, due to which three persons died.
“We demand proper medical facilities in our Gandhari area especially during winter season”, they demanded. There are more persons in our area with same symptoms of cold and fever, the residents added.
After coming to know about the deaths, Former MoS Sunil Sharma got in touch with the District Administration Kishtwar to depute a health team to take care of the situation.
He also raised the issue with MoS PMO Dr Jitendra Singh, who has already directed the authorities to take care of the situation.
Dr Singh also conveyed his condolence to the bereaved families.
Later, health teams from District Headquarters Kishtwar along with required medicines were rushed to the area to take care of the situation.
COVID-19 pandemic tests will also be conducted of all the inhabitants of Gandhari.
