RAJOURI, Sept 14: The police has booked three vehicle drivers for overloading passengers and endangering their lives.
All these vehicles used to ply on Rajouri – Thanamandi road. Two police teams headed by SDPO Thanamandi Iftikar Chowdhary and SHO Thanamandi Nazir Ahmad Dar were on routine patrolling on Rajouri – Thanamandi Road when three different vehicles were intercepted on three separate places on the road.
These vehicles include Minibus, JK-11/ 4223, Minibus JK02H/ 5197 and Tempo Traveller JK12 /2646. These vehicles were found heavily overloaded with passengers and drivers were booked under FIR No. 161, 162, 163/ 2018. They also challaned 35 vehicles in last two days in the area.
