RAJOURI, Nov 10: The police today booked three more drivers of passenger vehicles for indulging in overloading of passengers.
A police team headed by SHO Kalakote, Mustaj Ahmed laid a surprise naka at Miarhi, near Kalakote and intercepted vehicle/ canter No. JK11-5251 driven by Romesh Chander son of Om Parkash and a minibus, JK11/0989 driven by Sanjeev Kumar Chadda, son of Raj Kumar. Both the vehicles were found overloaded and were seized.
Two cases vide FIR No. 94/2018 and 95/2018 under section 279/336 RPC have been registered in Kalakote Police Station.
Another police team headed by SHO Nowshera, Mohammad Amin intercepted a Tata Magic Auto No. JK11B-8030 at Jhangar Chowk which was being driven by Amit Kumar, son of Ameerjeet Singh, a resident of Kalsian and found overloaded.
The vehicle was seized and FIR 247/2018 under section 279, 336 RPC has been registered in Nowshera Police Station.
