UDHAMPUR, Feb18: Udhampur police arrested three drug peddlers in two different cases and recovered 12.30 grams of Heroin from their possession.
According to Police, two accused were apprehended during naka checking at Roundomail. On frisking of the apprehended persons, namely Abhinandan Khajuria son of Davinder Khajuria of Indra Nagar, Udhampur and Rahildeep, son of Gopal Krishan of Barrian, Udhampur, Police recovered 7 grams of heroin like narcotic substance from them.
Both of them were arrested on the spot. In this regard, case FIR number 65/2022 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered in PS Udhampur.
In another case, a police party from PP Tikri intercepted one Rakesh Singh, son of Kartar Singh, residing near CEO Office Udhampur and recovered 5.30 grams of contraband heroin like substance from him. In this connection, case FIR number 36/2022, under section 8/21/22 NDPS act has been registered in PS Rehambal.
