POONCH, Dec 3: Police arrested three drug peddlers and recovered 10 grams of heroin like substance from their possession.
The trio, identified as Sarfraz Ahmed, son of Mohd Mushtaq of Gohlad Mendhar, Mohd Aliyas son of Manzoor Hussain of Balnoi Mendhar and Mohd Irfan son of Mohd Farooq of Balnoi Mendhar was riding a motorcycle (JK19-3565), which was intercepted by a Police party, led by SHO Poonch, Inspr Ranjeet Singh Rao near SK Bridge Poonch.
During frisking of the said persons, 10 grams of heroin like substance was recovered from their possession. Police seized the recovered narcotics and arrested the trio.
In this regard, a case has been registered under the relevant sections of law at Police Station Poonch and the investigation has been taken up.
