REASI, Apr 7: District Police today arrested three drug peddlers and recovered approximately 54 grams of heroin like narcotics from their possession, here today.
According to Police, during routine patrolling duty at Sulla Nakka, Police intercepted one car bearing registration number JK20B-7353 being driven by Sagar Gill, son of Muktar of Ward number 2, Christian Colony Reasi, who was alongwith his neighbor Dhruv Raj, son of Dileep Raj as co-passenger.
During checking, approximately 40 grams of heroin like narcotics was recovered from their possession. Police arrested the duo and seized the narcotics substance.
In this regard, a case FIR number 80/2023, under Section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Reasi.
In another success, Police party of PCP Searli recovered 14 grams heroin like substance from one person namely Raj Singh son of Thakur Singh of Pujari Mohalla, Katra, who was arrested.
In this connection, a case FIR number 101, under Section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Katra.
The operations were led by SHO Reasi Vijay Sharma and SHO Katra Nishant Gupta under the supervision of Dy SP headquarter Neeraj Padyar and SDPO Katra Surinder Singh.
