3 drug peddlers nabbed with 1800 capsules

KATHUA, Nov 19: The police nabbed three drug peddlers and recovered 1800 intoxicant capsules from their possession here today.
A police spokesman said a police naka party intercepted a scooter No. JK08A/4724 near Kalibari in Kathua and during search recovered 1800 capsules Parvan Spas kept in `dhikki’. The police arrested both the youth traveling on scooter. They were identified as Rashpal Singh, son of Raghubir Singh resident of Ward No. 17 and pillion rider Jatinder Singh, son of Rumail Singh of Patel Nagar, Kathua. After their interrogation, the third associate, namely- Sandeep Singh, son of Swarn Singh was also arrested. They disclosed that consignment belonged to Sandeep and they were working for him. A case was registered against all of them. They were promoting drug-addition in the area since long, the police said.
