POONCH, Mar 8: Maintaining strict vigil and curbing illegal mining activity, District Police Poonch today seized three dumpers from the river site near Surankote.
Official sources said that acting on specific information District G&M authorities seized three dumpers ( JK-19/4275, JK12B/4020 and JK11C/4008) near Jogi Morh in Surankote area today. They were involved in illegal extraction/ transportation of miner mineral from Suran river. A fine of Rs 16,125 was imposed and recovered from the operators.
