POONCH, Apr 23: Deputy Commissioner, Poonch Rahul Yadav today placed three Government employees under suspension for misusing their movement passes.
Official spokesman said that action was taken by the DM after these employees from Health and PHE Department were found venturing away from their homes and misusing passes which were issued to them for only their movement outside for performing duty. They were intercepted by police near Sher -e-Kashmir Bridge Poonch. Later their movement passes were also seized by the officer on duty.
The employees found violating prohibitory orders included, Qadir Ahmed (Health official posted at District Hospital Poonch), Shaktipal (PHE, posted at Pumping Station D/W No. 03 near Christ School Poonch) and Imtiyaz Malik (Department PHE).
“Meanwhile, Chief Medical Officer Poonch, Executive Engineer PHE Poonch shall initiate disciplinary action against the above said officials under CSC Rules and submit action taken report to DM office at an earliest,” the order added.
