KATRA, Apr 9: Three empl-oyees of Forest Department were injured when the motorcycle, they were riding on, was hit by Xylo vehicle at Thanda Pani, near Dhanwa village of Pouni.
The injured were identified as Rajesh Gupta ( Forester), Abdul Latief (Guard) and Rattan Lal. The trio was shifted to PHC Pouni where Abdul Latief was referred to GMC Hospital Jammu.
Meanwhile, an elderly male pilgrim was found dead under a shed near Jalpan Checking Point, Mata Vaishno Devi, Katra today.
An Aadhar card and a Railway ticket, on which his name was written, were found from the spot. He was identified as Gopi (66), son of Madhaeyi, resident of Kanpur (UP). From his belongings, Police also found a phone number of his son, who was contacted.
The son told Police that his father had came to Vaishno Devi alone for Darshan .
The dead body was later shifted to CHC Katra.
