UDHAMPUR, July 11: Under mysterious circumstances, a bus conductor was found hanging from the window of stranded passenger bus at Udhampur Bus Stand while a young man committed suicide by hanging at his house in Jogran Talab Udhampur and a youth was found dead in a Nallah at Ghordi.
According to the police report, a bus conductor Karnail Singh (23), son of Ranbir Singh, resident of Marothi, Chenani, was found hanging from window of the passenger bus at Bus Stand Udhampur this morning under mysterious circumstances.
Locals who saw the youth hanging, immediately called the Police following which SHO Udhampur Raghubir Singh along with a Police teach rushed to the spot and shifted the dead body to District Hospital Udhampur for the postmortem.
The police after completion of all the formalities and postmortem handed over the body to family members. A case has been registered in this connection while further investigation are being made to ascertain the circumstances of death.
Meanwhile, in an apparent case of suicide, Subash Chander (35) son of Late Shankar Dass, resident of Jojran Talab Udhampur, was found hanging from ceiling fan hook at his house.
On being informed by the family members, Police reached the spot and shifted the dead body to District Hospital Udhampur for the postmortem. Cause of provocation behind the extreme step could not be ascertained while Police has registered a case in this connection for further investigation.
In another case, a 32 year old young man was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Nallah Malal at Ghordi area
According to the police report, Sudesh Kumar, son of Dina Nath Sharma, resident of village Satyalta, Mohra Malal, Tehsil Ramnagar, was found dead in Malal Nallah. The body was spotted by some locals, who informed the Police Post Ghordi following which IC PP Ghordi, Sub-Inspector Abhinav Batti reached the spot and shifted the body to mortuary room of SDH Ramnagar.
The police after completion of all the legal formalities and postmortem handed over the body to family members and Ramnagr Police has started inquest proceeding under section 174 CrPC
