Leh, Sep 5: Ladakh’s COVID-19 tally increased to 20,578 with three fresh cases, while the active caseload came down to 59 as 13 more patients recovered from the disease, officials said on Sunday.
All the fresh cases were reported from Leh district, they said.
So far, Ladakh has recorded 207 Covid-related deaths — 149 in Leh and 58 in Kargil.
Seven patients were discharged from hospitals in Leh after recovering from COVID-19 and six in Kargil the previous day. With this, 20,312 patients have recovered till date in Ladakh, the officials said.
Of the 59 active cases in the union territory, 47 are in Leh and 12 in Kargil, they said. (Agencies)
