JAMMU, Apr 17: Domana Police arrested three gamblers along with Rs 4610 stake money and playing cards.
As per police sources, a team from Police Station Domana led by SHO Inspector Mukesh Sharma and assisted by Incharge Police Post Chinore SI Avtar Krishan Choudhary during patrolling duty in Bantalab area arrested three gamblers along with Rs 4610 stake money and playing cards.
The arrested gamblers were identified as Sanjay Sharma, son of Madan Lal of Jourian Tehsil Akhnoor District Jammu, at present Basant Palace Bantalab District Jammu, Balwant Sharma, son of Mohinder Lal Sharma of Jourian Tehsil Akhnoor District Jammu, at present Basant Palace Bantalab District Jammu and Bittu Singh, son of Ranjeet Singh of Bantalab, at present Basant Palace Bantalab District Jammu.
All the gamblers got booked under section 3/4 of Gambling Act.
The arrest and recoveries were made under the supervision of SDPO Domana Kosheen Koul and SP Rural Sanjay Sharma.
