JAMMU, Nov 26: Kanachack Police arrested three gamblers along with Rs 5340 stake money and instrument used for gambling.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Police Station Kanachack conducted raid in Sukha Pakhiyan area and apprehended three gamblers along with Rs 5340 stake money and instrument used for gambling.
The arrested persons were identified as Arjun Kumar, son of Puran Chand of Bazigar Basti, Sukha Pakhiyan, tehsil Bhalwal, District Jammu, Darshan Kumar, son of Hans Raj off Bazigar Basti, Sukha Pakhiyan, tehsil Bhalwal, District Jammu and Ashwani Kumar, son of Rashpal Chand of Bazigar Basti, Sukha Pakhiyan, tehsil Bhalwal, District Jammu.
Cognizance under Section 13 Gambling Act stands taken against the arrested persons by Kanachack Police.
Police team led by SHO Kanachack Inspector Vishav Partap Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Domana Sunil Sharma and SP Rural Jammu Sanjay Sharma.
