SRINAGAR, Feb 13: Police today said it have arrested three people while gambling and recovered stake money over forty three thousand from the gambling site here in Zukura area on city outskirts.
A police spokesman said following a tip off a police party raided a gambling place at Gulab Bagh. “During the raid three people were arrested while gambling and stake money worth Rs. 43850 has been recovered from the gambling site,” he said.
The gamblers who were held have been identified as Feroz Ahmad Ganie, Bashir Ahmad Ganie and Arshid Ahmad, the spokesman said, adding that a case has been registered against these gamblers.
