3 gamblers nabbed by Narwal police

JAMMU, May 6: Three gamblers were nabbed along with Rs 7,500 stake money and playing cards from Narwal.
As per police sources, on specific inputs, police team from Narwal police post conducted a raid near SBI Bank in Narwal and arrested three gamblers along with Rs 7,500 stake money and playing cards.
The accused have been identified as Fayaaz Hussain, son of Ghulam Hussain of Srinagar, Tariq Ahmed, son of Mohammad Akram of Verinag and Sharaz Ahmed, son of Mohammad Sadiq of Kangan, district Ganderbal, Srinagar.
A case under Section 13 Gambling Act has been registered at police post Narwal and investigation started.
Police team headed by incharge police post Narwal SI Inayat Ali made the arrests under the supervision of SHO Trikuta Nagar police station Chanchal Singh, SDPO East Mohammad Rafiq and SP City (South) Rahul Malik.
