3 girls missing from Bemina recovered

RAMBAN, Jan 31: Batote Police recovered three missing girls, who went missing from Bemina area of Srinagar.
As per police sources, an information was received that a vehicle bearing registration number JK02AH-3086 is on its way from Srinagar to Jammu, in which some missing girls from Kashmir were travelling.
Acting over the information, a team from Police Station Batote intercepted the vehicle at Nashri check point. During the course of verification, the other passengers were found genuine and were allowed to proceed to Jammu, where 3 girls on being asked about their journey towards Jammu they could not justify, which raised concerns and doubts.
After enquiring, it was found that missing reports of girls were lodged at Police Post Bemina Srinager. Thereafter an immediate signal was flashed to Police Post Bemina about their current whereabouts. In turn a police party alongwith girls parents reported at Police Station Batote. All 3 missing girls were identified by their parents and were handed over to them after legal formalities.
Police team led by SHO Batote Inspector Ranjeet Singh Rao traced out the girls under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Ramban Rajinder Chib, Additional SP Ramban Rajni Sharma and SSP Ramban Haseeb-ur-Rehman.
