JAMMU, Jan 21: Gangyal Police arrested three habitual offenders.
As per police sources, during the intervening night of January 20 and 21 this year, an information was received through reliable sources regarding a gunshot incident near Kunjwani in which three persons were involved namely Tirlok Singh alias Ladi, son of Narayan Singh of Rohi, Babliana, Paramjeet Singh, son of Surjeet Singh of Village Katyal, Tehsil RS Pura and Jatinder Singh alias Nittu, son of Harnam Singh of Sainik Colony.
Acting over the information, a case under FIR Number 7/2021 under Sections 3/25 Arms Act and 336 and 34 IPC was registered at Police Station Gangyal and accused were arrested by SHO Gangyal Inspector Raghuvir Singh. Weapon of offence (pistol) was recovered from them.
Further investigation of the case is going on.
It is pertinent to mention here that all the accused were habitual offenders and have already been booked under several FIRs in different police stations.
